As we become sophisticated as a country, criminals too are becoming more sophisticated and they are using all kinds of modern techniques. For example, we do have organized criminal gangs who have been giving us a lot of problems. They are extorting money and killing people. Fortunately, and I want to commend hon. Members, when I brought a Bill here on organized criminal gangs, it was passed by this House. I am happy to say today that assent to that Bill has been given by His Excellency the President. I also want to thank an hon. Member who brought a Private Bill on anti-human trafficking. The Bill was brought here, it received a warm reception and it was passed. That too has been assented to. Very recently, we have had quite a number of foreigners. About 80 Ethiopians were held in a house in the country while waiting to be trafficked to another country. We also have Somalis and other people. That particular Act is going to fight that very hard."}
