I was saying that the population of this country is growing so is the population of the communities hosting wildlife. The long-prolonged droughts are also more frequent. Therefore, we need to look for a more sustainable way of conserving wildlife. How can we feed them? Nowadays wildlife is found everywhere. For example, we have some in individual ranches in Kajiado County. I feel so reluctant to support the Statement by my sister. This is because last week, there was a Statement by Sen. Pareno in this House in which she was seeking from the same Committee to address issues to do with wildlife/human conflict in Kajiado County. It is sad that we buried two people last week as a result of wildlife/human conflict. This week, we are yet to bury another who was killed by a wildlife. The Committee has never given us answers to the Statement. I feel that the Committee is not doing its work. The issues of wildlife are very important, especially in terms of tourism in this country. I support and urge the Committee to do its work."}
