I want to start by looking at the vision of the Ministry which is to have a globally competitive quality education, training and research for Kenyaâs sustainable development. I would like to look at that mission against the background that Kenya is a signatory to the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and against the background that Kenya has just passed a new constitution; against another background that Kenya is pursuing Vision 2030, which education is one of the greatest pillars."}
