This is meant to make them available for deployment within Laikipia County; (g) Finally, peace committees have been activated to preach peaceful co-existence and the sharing of resources. The National Police Service Reserve has been undergoing restructuring. Several measures have been put in place to make it more responsive and professional. A directorate was created to oversee retirement, vetting, training and kitting. In Laikipia County, a total of 40 NPRs have been recruited, trained and are currently in a camp within the county awaiting further instruction.
