Temporary Deputy Chairman, I agree that county governments should open bank accounts for accountability purposes. I feel a bit cheated in this amendment. We should have a particular bank like the Kenya Commercial Bank, where county government treasuries should open bank accounts. Corruption can creep in when money goes to any bank and accountability will become a problem. We should name the bank. I do not know whether that is possible. We may have cases where some county executives may have interest in particular banks."}
