Now that I have come, I am ready to serve this country very diligently. I hope that I will serve for 10 years. At the end of that, I will, at least, look up to the country to say a big thank you to me by ensuring that I get a monthly pension which can help me to look after myself. It will be good if this pension is summed up or calculated as a percentage of a monthly salary. In the absence of that, I think it is just prudent to give, at least, Kshs100,000 a month to those diligent MPs who served between 1984 and 2001."}
