I want at the outset to say that I support this Bill. It is pathetic. Last weekend I went to a funeral and two ex-Members of Parliament were trying to greet me and yet I did not know who they were. It is so pathetic. And I said: What mistake did I make to be a Member of Parliament. They looked so pale and so worn out. The guy I was sitting next to told me that the two guys were Members of Parliament at some point. I do not want to mention the constituencies. We should do something about it. I was just talking to my colleague here and I am convinced that even Kshs100,000 is not enough. When we get to the Committee of the whole House, I am going to propose that we make an amendment so that at least we talk about Kshs200,000. These people come over here; you look at them and wonder whether you are part and parcel of the so-called Members of Parliament. So, at the Committee of the whole House on this Bill, I am going to urge Members"}
