The proposed amendment is a strong one and I know it is going to help a lot of women to come forth and succeed. I have also looked at the proposed amendment on the media. We know that if you are campaigning, you cannot be everywhere every time and publicity is a strong thing in campaigns. If parties are compelled to ensure that the weak or the marginalised candidates are well facilitated in terms of publicity, it will go a long way in helping them secure their seats."}
