(Dr.) Ali is different. This is because two weeks ago, for the people in Nairobi and other parts of the country, they introduced the E-Citizen where you apply for the passport online. The process is similar to that one of getting a visa whereby you actually get an appointment and the long queues are no longer there. For passport applicants from Northern Kenya, it is a special case because there is the issue of vetting. The E-Citizen was introduced two weeks ago and it does not apply in the case of Northern Kenya where they are subjected to vigorous vetting."}
