As I reply, allow me to take this opportunity to thank the many Members who contributed to the Motion and even those who led in the chorus of rejecting my amendment. I appreciate that the House has a role to play in this debate and the contributions that Members made to the debate are invaluable to the budget-making process. The BPS is the beginning of the budget process for the Financial Year 2019/2020. We have noted many of the issues that were raised up to 7.00 p.m. yesterday on policy issues and even on issues that we may need to address as a Committee, departmental committees, the National Treasury and the Executive as we move towards the Estimates."}
