Temporary Deputy Speaker, the name of my constituency, ‘Belgut’, is a corrupted English word because of our Kalenjin accent. There used to be a place called Kabianga, which used to produce the best quality tea during the white settlement period. Belgut produced the best tea and it used to be called “Best Quality Tea” - which was corrupted and became ‘Belgut’ because of mother tongue accent. So, generally, I know what it means when we talk about this Bill. I have gone through all the 40 sections of the Bill word by word. I am confident that it is just the right dose for the ailing tea sector."}
