Mortgages and banks have expressed willingness to amortise and if it was a 20 month facility, extend it for the period of the pandemic. During this period, there are no charges and interest. I am glad that based on interaction, the banks have said that certain transactions will not be charged as of now and they have restructured loans amounting to Kshs160 billion. It is a pandemic and not an epidemic like malaria or a landslide but a global pandemic."}
