Work on phase 1, which is the section between Nakuru Pipeline, Lanet and Elementaita, a distance of 20 kilometres will begin early August 2010, since the contract for the said section has been awarded. Phase 2; Elementaita to Mau Narok, 26 kilometres is scheduled to commence in the year 2012/2013."}
