The amendment is seeking to correct the unintended purpose in the amendment of the Tax Amendment Bill that we passed in December that gave tariff code of float glass as 7005 and not 7007."

"content": "Kinangop, JP): Thank you, Hon. Temporary Chairperson. I support the amendment because for the first time in the life of this Government, we are reducing taxes at a rate of 25 per cent. We should see the same reduction in terms of power supply when we are constructing power lines. When we are issuing transformers, we should see the monetary value of transformers going down by 25 per cent. I support."
