"content": "THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Communication, Information and Innovation in its report on the approval hearing of a Nominee for Appointment as Principal Secretary, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 15th April 2025, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 155(3)(b) of the Constitution and sections 3 and 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, CAP 7F, this House approves the appointment of Mr. Stephen Motari Isaboke as Principal Secretary, State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, subject to the following condition – That, in order to avert any potential conflict of interest with respect to the claims made relating to part ownership of GoTV Kenya Limited, the appointing authority re-assigns the nominee a different State Department, upon taking oath of office."
