Whereas Standing Order 66(1) is silent on the timeline within which the Clerk is required to consider the proposed Motion and advise the Speaker, it must be noted that a Motion for dismissal of a Cabinet Secretary is a special Motion under Standing Order 61, which ought to be disposed of expeditiously. Consequently, the Clerk is required to consider the proposed motion and advise the Speaker without unnecessary delay.
