I also represent Mbeere people in my constituency. The mood of the House is to call the Mover to reply. We accept that these two people are well-qualified to serve the country as Cabinet Secretaries. She said, ‘First and foremost, I sincerely apologise for this statement, and wholly withdraw it. No woman deserves to be killed under any circumstances.’ The apology is on her X handle for Kenyans to read. I thank the Members for the support they have expressed for these two nominees.
