(ii) Could the ministry consider enhancing the airport’s cargo handling capacity? (iii) Could the ministry also consider expanding the airport’s runway to accommodate bigger capacity planes and thus promote the entry of more cargo? view

They are concentrating on very minor issues like saying that communities should not use school buses and at the same time they are introducing rules which are very bad for teacher training colleges. They are also reducing examination centres. The Chair and the Departmental Committee on Education and Research should come out strongly on the Cabinet Secretary (CS) and his Principal Secretary (PS). I want to tell the CS to come down and listen to educationists, teachers, even Members of Parliament and everybody else. The other time when Hon. Melly was the Chair of Departmental Committee on Education and Research I requested that some of the budget allocated to the Ministry to be taken to National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).
