Before I contribute to this, allow me to thank the Almighty God for having given me the opportunity today, through the Public Accounts Committee, to serve as a Vice-Chairperson. The Salaries and Remuneration Commission as well as the Public Service Commission harmonise the salaries of staff. In this Authority, we need to have that objectivity, so that salaries can be harmonised with those of public officers.
