Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 59 of the Bill be amended— (a) in subclause (1) by deleting the word “shall” and substituting therefor “may take into account the opinion or input of a regulated professional where technical or professional expertise is required” immediately after the words “procuring entity”; (b) in subclause (3)— (i) by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph— “(a) conform to design, specification, functionality and performance”. (ii) by inserting the words “servicing” and “immediately” before the word “maintaining” appearing in paragraph (g); Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I seek your guidance after looking at the amendment to Clause 59(a)."
