Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 146 of the Bill be amended by ─ (a) deleting the words “Water Act, 2001”appearing in Subclause (1) and substituting therefor the words “Water Act, 2002”; (b) deleting the words “Water Act, 2001”appearing in Subclause (2) and substituting therefor the words “Water Act, 2002”; and, (c) deleting the words “Water Act, 2001”appearing in Subclause (3) and substituting therefor the words “Water Act, 2002”. Essentially, the Bill refers to the Water Act 2001 which is actually the Water Act 2002. We are just correcting that anomaly."
