    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I beg to move the Universities (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bill No.31 of 2014). Madam Temporary Speaker, we know that education plays an important role in promoting economic and social development in a specific country or region. Education is also seen as the primary means of social mobility, national cohesion and socio-economic development. Kenya has made great stride in education and training since we got our Independence.
