For example in Nairobi, most of the areas which were set aside for building fire stations were sold by some corrupt people. Now, a place like Westlands - a city within a city - does not have a single fire unit. So, when something happens, we have to call the fire station that is stationed at Central Business District (CBD) in the City centre. It is something that we must look into. This is an area where the county governments ought to be involved. They must also be prepared to handle disasters when they occur within their regions."
