The records they handle are very confidential, and they need to be trained on issues of confidentiality so that patient’s information is kept very well. I am happy that Hon. Nyokabi has brought up the issue of access to information but that is a different Bill. Some of her issues will be tackled in this Bill. I support this Bill; we are going to work with the necessary committees to ensure that we bring quite a number of amendments, so that if created, the board does not work as a stand-alone, but works with medical practitioners, who have the say when it comes to health records.
