We should ensure that this law provides a basis of cleaning up the mess we witnessed in political party nominations. Finally, Clauses 17, 18 and 27 talk about appointment of the Registrar of Political Parties and it is a shame that she has been in an acting capacity for the last eight years. It is unacceptable and we should hasten the enactment of this law and the process of the appointment of a substantive holder of this office."
