    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this Motion. I thank Hon. Gladys Wanga for bringing this important Motion to the House. A lot has been said about cancer. There is no doubt that it is currently the leading killer disease. We are losing very many lives unnecessarily because of late detection of the disease. The disease is detected late because Kenyans have not developed the culture of going for medical tests. They go to hospital only when they are sick. If we had embraced the culture of going for routine medical tests, most of the cases could be detected early.
