Is the distinguished Senator for Kirinyaga in order to openly and blatantly display a total lack of knowledge on the issue of South Sudan by suggesting that my brother and partner in the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD), Kalonzo Musyoka is a roving ambassador for South Sudan? We are not talking of the past; we are talking of the present. By then Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka was the Foreign Minister who spearheaded the process of negotiation of peace between (Sudan People’s Liberation Movement) SPLM and the Government of Sudan. He performed that job with distinction. I came and finished it with even greater distinction."
