Temporary Deputy Speaker, we already have the NGO Coordination Board which has been trying to discourage NGOs from operating by putting very many caveats and trying to deregister some of them that are doing a very good job simply because this law has not been operationalised. If this law had been operationalised, the NGO Coordination Board would not be making those unilateral decisions because it is making them from the NGO Act, which is already out of date."
