    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I wish to support the Bill; the Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2015. As I support this Bill, I must say that we have seen so many Kenyans joining universities and others desiring to do so. This is very important. Wherever we go, we try to encourage our youths that they have to look at education in terms of university education. Days are gone when one would consider oneself educated by only completing Form Four. As Kenyans join those universities, there are several challenges that this Bill will go a long way towards addressing. We must equally observe that since after Independence to date, there are so many universities that have come up. I believe that Hon. Members in this Chamber would wish to contribute so much towards the setting up of universities in their various constituencies. As all this is being done, it is equally important to look at the question of standards. We should be looking at the quality of education that is being offered in those universities."
