    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I also rise to support this Bill. As has been observed by some of the speakers who have spoken before me, this Bill attempts to consolidate the laws on contempt under one statute. It is a marked improvement from the old laws of contempt. For instance, it seeks to amend Section 5 of the Judicature Act, Cap. 8 of the Laws of Kenya.
