"content": "about areas that do not have network coverage. It is cheaper to use satellite phones in such areas. Recently, we saw it being used by the Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Matiangi, in releasing examination results. In Kenya, we are using the IFMIS in procurement and it is working. Kenyans are also able to transfer money through Mpesa. That means that everything is on a digital platform. For sure, there is no need for us to insist that we must use a manual backup. I do not know why the Jubilee Senators are insisting and trying to make Kenyans believe that the electronic system cannot work in Kenya. I agree with the amendment."
