Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Standing Orders be amended by inserting the following new Standing Order Immediately after Standing Order 202— “Approval of joint sittings with a Senate Committee 202A. (1) A Committee may, with the written permission of the Speaker, hold joint sittings with a Committee of the Senate to consider a matter related to their respective mandates. (2) The Speaker shall notify the House of the approval under paragraph (1).”"
