"content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I will be very brief. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. After hearing Sen. Madzayo, who was a judge in our judicial system, one cannot really say more. However, I wanted to emphasise that our constitutional democracy is based on certain foundational values, and one of them is the rule of law. Article 10 of the Constitution is very clear on this particular national foundational value and principle of governance in accordance with the Constitution. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is becoming a worrying trend in the law enforcement system in the courts in the Judiciary that orders are made which are not obeyed. The Government should be the first to not only promote the rule of law by advocating it, but The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
