I also thank God for this day when we congratulate our great people who we have known in different capacities. Hon. Duale, you are a mentor to some of us. You encouraged us and you have fought for us women. I cannot forget a recent issue. When we went through nominations of United Democratic Alliance (UDA), all Members of Parliament for Gilgil, Naivasha and Njoro won, but we had a lot of challenges with the men we had defeated. Hon. Duale, I cannot forget the day you ... view

  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to contribute to the State of the Nation Address by the President. When I followed the Address by the President yesterday, I had a lot of concerns. First of all, I want to appreciate the road network in the country. I can also say that I have lobbied and some roads have successfully been completed in my constituency but, I can still mention roads that funds have not been allocated to. In addition, I still have a lot of concern when it comes to security matters. As ... view
  • 1 Dec 2021 in National Assembly: Also, through the Address of the President, we appreciate what he talked about COVID - 19 but we still have many loopholes. Kenyans have been hit hard. We have had a lot of losses in businesses and other problems. What I was expecting to hear from the entire Address was if the Government could provide free tests for COVID -19 so that we can know the status of the people and guide the country so that necessary action can be taken. view
