I rise to support this Motion and say that the Government should devolve resources to county governments to ensure that schools in each county are fully equipped. A number of times, we have visited primary and secondary schools in our counties and all Senators know that the situation is not good. Last weekend, I attended the burial of one of the greatest engineers in Moi University. The circumstances under which he died surround what we are discussing today. He has a first born son who was also a student in Moi University, School of Engineering. This boy has really done everything to ensure that his parents are not comfortable.
