This is the horizontal sharing of revenue to the counties through a formula adopted by the Senate and National Assembly. Through the Division of Revenue Bill, we discussed these issues at length and the Senate has done the same. The amount of money in terms of the shareable revenue given to the counties is Kshs370 billion. We hope in the coming year, the counties will utilise funds appropriated to them in the right manner.
