  • 25 Feb 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Speaker. Let me accept his proposal, but let us agree that it will be strictly three weeks and not three months. view
  • 19 Nov 2013 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. The Chair and the Deputy Chair are both out of the country on official tour. The question hon. (Ms) Mbarire has asked is a weighty one. We were with TSC last Thursday, the issue of employment was raised. With regard to the time, I suggest that we shall give the answer next Thursday, since this is not going to be an issue that requires a lot of investigation. It requires direct search from their data and we pass the information. Regarding the Statement, since both the Chairperson and the Vice chairperson are out of the ... view
  • 19 Nov 2013 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I will take the responsibility on behalf of the Committee. We will give the response together with the one that has just been requested on Wednesday next week. view
  • 19 Nov 2013 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, we take the request and we will deliver the Statement in the next two weeks. We will deliberate on the request. Once we plan to meet the relevant TSC officials, we will invite the Member to attend the meeting, so that he can also participate. view
  • 24 Jul 2013 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. The two nominees are people who are experienced in the area they have been nominated. I am a member of that Committee. We realized that these are people who have gone through challenges to make it in life. Their CVs speak volumes. We had no doubt that the two measure up to the challenges that face the TSC. When you look at the challenges they faced, the exposure, experience and their education in comparison to what they are supposed to do we have no doubt that they will make a great contribution to the TSC. ... view
  • 17 Jul 2013 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, I stand to support this Motion as amended. We thank hon. Wario for bringing this Motion and hon. Chepkonga for improving it so that we do not talk from the point of view of TARDA and KenGen, but from a compelling position. It is incumbent upon the two companies to put in place measures so that when they release the waters, they do not cause havoc. They need to take responsibility of what they have done and pay the people of Tana Basin. view
  • 9 Jul 2013 in National Assembly: Asante kwa kunipatia nafasi hii Mhe. Naibu Spika.
  • 9 Jul 2013 in National Assembly: Mhe. Naibu Spika, ninaomba unilinde kutoka kwa Mhe. Simba Arati. view
  • 9 Jul 2013 in National Assembly: Ningependa kusema kwamba hakuna Serikali ambayo haijapitia ufisadi.
