There are several levels of administrative geographical divisions within Kenya that are significant in the electoral process.
At the present time there are 210 constituencies in Kenya. These, and their associated MPs are listed here.
For the 2012 elections the number of constituencies is being increased to 290 and the constituency boundaries redrawn. Mzalendo will be updated to include the new constituencies as soon as formal agreement has been reached upon their definition.
In addition, in the 2012 election there will be elections for senators at a county level. There are 47 counties, based upon the per-1992 divisions of Kenya.
