"content": "Notable pending bills include those linked to the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the Registrar of Political Parties (RPP). The Constitution has prescribed the percentage that must go to political parties, and we have not met that percentage. If we cannot meet that then it is possible that in future amendments to the Constitution, it can be one of the items that can be looked at. This is so that we can put a figure that can be afforded by Kenyans. It looks like for now we are not in position to afford the amount that goes to the RPP."
