    "content": "From the reports we are getting from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health, it is clear that unless we do a few things in a certain manner, then Covid-19 could be with us for some years. The earliest a vaccine could be found is in a year or so. Therefore, we have to plan early on how we will cushion the economy and what institutions should be supported. Under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Co-operatives, it is clear that we have departments which could be used to jumpstart the economy for example, Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI), which incubates small business which are likely to pay taxes and, therefore, contribute to the Exchequer."
