Pursuant to Standing Order No. 44(2) (C) I wish to request for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research regarding the placement of students from Isiolo County into institutions of higher learning in the country. During the recently concluded exercise of placement of 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates to universities and colleges and release of the Report of the 2020/2021 placement circular by the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for the Ministry of Education on 2nd June 2020, students from schools in Isiolo County were not considered for selection to pursue The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
