    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have heard the people of Kirinyaga with a lot of sympathy. I am actually concerned and humbled that they are petitioning this House. The assurance they will get from me and Members in this House is that that committee will do its work. That work will be done publicly and with opportunity being given to anybody who has information that will help the committee arrive at the correct position. If the people of Kirinyaga County, including the elected leaders who are attacking other leaders who cannot defend themselves, have information that is relevant to that committee, that is the place to take it. That is the place to prosecute that information. Whenever I will get opportunity to talk to Members of that committee because they are my colleagues, I will encourage them to vindicate the dignity of the Senate; that the Senate can do justice through a committee or through plenary. That is very important."
