    "content": "What I am apprehensive about is that some people take it out there that the independence of the Senate is something they own and walk with. The independence of the Senate is for the Senate to listen to everybody. The independence of the Senate does not mean that the Senate does not listen to them. If they make decisions out there and say that the Senate must abide by that, then there is no need to have the Senate. They should have just removed that governor from there and made it a fait accompli . The Senate is here to listen to the parties that are interested in the outcome of the matter. I believe that a committee provides valuable time and an atmosphere where all the persons presenting evidence can do so without intimidation."
