    "content": "Hon. Speaker, we have discussed this and realized that it is very important. They are contributing to the country and, at the same time, members of the public are benefitting from the investments. We have agreed with the National Treasury that anybody who invests in CSR should continue getting the benefit of tax deduction. There is another proposal where the whole country is asking why we want to tax the pension of our senior citizens. I want to confirm that this Bill was proposing to do some taxation on retirement benefits. However, after long consultations with stakeholders and the National Treasury, we have agreed that this proposal should be dropped so that our senior citizens can continue to enjoy their benefits. They said that the coronavirus is chasing the old people around. They are being told to stay at home and now they are being taxed. So, they should rest assured that if this House supports, then the intended taxation will not happen."
