Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended in Clause 12 by inserting the following paragraph immediately after paragraph (c) – (d) inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph 19 20. The supply of maize (corn) flour, cassava flour, wheat or meslin flour and maize flour containing cassava flour by more than ten per cent in weight. Basically, what this Clause is doing is to zero-rate the supply of flour, cassava, wheat and all that so that it makes it cheaper especially, during this COVID-19 period. It will make it cheaper and affordable to Kenyans."
