Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding child rape and killings in Soy Constituency in Uasin Gishu County. For the last five months since February 2020, there have been rampant killings, kidnappings and raping of young girls ranging between the ages of eight and 12 years in Moi’s Bridge area in Soy Constituency."
