Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended – (a) by deleting the expression “(1)”; (b) in paragraph (c) by inserting the words “that has a licence from another county” immediately after the words “a moving vehicle” appearing in subparagraph (iv). The essence of this amendment is to avoid double taxation of businesses from one county to the other. If a business has a branded vehicle and the vehicle is moving from one county to another county, it should not be taxed if it has already paid tax in one county."
