    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. The Office of the Auditor-General is extremely important to this country. This is because it examines expenditures of ministries, departments and agencies and how funds appropriated by this House are spent. It also points out where funds have been misappropriated and makes recommendations on the action to be taken. So, it is very important for this House and the Committee to have enough time to vet the nominee and ensure we get the right person to do that job."
