    "content": "The second one, Hon. Speaker, is a request for a statement regarding reporting timelines for first year government-sponsored university students placed in private universities. It is disheartening to note that private universities are now forcing the newly-placed students to report as early as 6th July 2020 through online registration, purporting to begin virtual lectures by 13th July 2020. Prior to these dates, the students are being called upon to have paid school fees and purchased for themselves laptops or smart phones. This is causing pressure to poor parents, guardians and students, and many of them are contemplating calling off a full academic year.
