Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, pursuant to the provisions of Section 15(1)(a)(ii) of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act, 2017, Standing Order No.175 and further to the resolution of the House of 4th March 2020, this House approves the appointment of Hon. Josphat Kabinga Wachira to the Committee of Parliamentary Powers and Privileges, in addition to the ones specified under Section 15(1)(a)(i) of the said Act. This appointment under this Order is tied to the appointments in the next Order, in that there is already an existing Member in the Committee on Parliamentary Powers and Privileges. Hon. Speaker, I intend to request that we step down Order No.12 for further consultations."
